Large Attic red-figure bell krater of the R.T. Painter. 380 - 370 BC. Height 41,3cm, ø mouth 42,3cm. On one side a thiasos around of the youthful sitting Dionysos with thyrsos. In front of him a floating Eros who tied a taenia around the head of the god. On the left side a satyr and a maenad wild dancing and a further satyr playing the double aulos, on the right side a sitting silen with thyrsos. On the other side of the krater three draped youths. Reassembled from fragments, small missing parts are retouched, painting are rubbed off at few areas.
