An Islamic Indo-Persian Copper Bazuband with Calligraphic Inscriptions.
An Islamic Indo-Persian copper bazuband (armguard) featuring intricately engraved Arabic calligraphy set within a dense background of scrolling vegetal patterns. The script, rendered in elegant thuluth, wraps across the slightly convex surface of the plate, bordered by a notched rim.
