Comes with an F8 silver frame - In oil painting, the greenish blue (cobalt blue type) tends to turn yellowish and greenish over time anyway, so I mix in some green to make it less noticeable. I'm still researching purple-blue (ultramarine type). Blue is said to be a cool color that calms the mind, but this work pursues a blue that feels warm. I did not consciously paint a cold blue, so I do not know if it has the effect of lowering the perceived temperature by 3 degrees Celsius.
