The vice is constructed from cast iron with two solid jaws and features twin steel guide rods for stability alongside a central threaded lead screw. This model is equipped with a quick-release lever mechanism to facilitate rapid adjustment of the jaws. The original steel handle with ball ends is present. The casting on the front jaw contains several raised marks. Markings: 52 1/2 A, ENGLAND, RECORD, NO., MADE IN. Width of jaws: approximately 23 cm.
