The tool is constructed from heavy-duty forged or cast iron or steel. It features a long, tapering lever handle connected to a central triangular pivot assembly. This assembly includes two integrated hooks and is attached to a large C-shaped bracket at the terminus, designed to grip fencing wire or anchor against a post.
