A pair of sturdy iron building trestles - A pair of industrial cast iron trestle stand of utilitarian design, likely dating from the 20th century. The frame is constructed from two cast end supports with arched, splayed feet, connected by two cylindrical lower stretchers and two flat rectangular top rails. The top rails are bolted into the end frames. This form is consistent with blacksmiths trestles, painters trestles, or workshop bench frames. A white auction sticker marked Lot 140 is attached to the top rail. No foundry marks or manufacturer stamps are visible on the surface.
