An Edwardian Sterling Silver Pill Box by Adie and Lovekin Ltd, Birmingham 1901 - An Edwardian sterling silver circular pill box of hinged form. The lid is decorated in high relief repoussé with a pattern of scrolling foliage and C-scrolls, centred by a polished circular boss. The base of the box features a crimped or fluted rim, and the interior retains a wash-gilt finish. The interior base is struck with hallmarks for the maker Adie and Lovekin Ltd, the Birmingham anchor town mark, the lion passant standard mark, and the date letter b for 1901.
