A Vintage Italian Silver-Plated and Cut Glass Sheraton Pattern Claret Jug - A claret jug featuring a clear glass body with comprehensive geometric cutting in the Sheraton pattern. The design includes a collar of vertical fluted panels transitioning into a wide mid-section of sharp diamond-point cutting, terminating in a star-cut foot. The jug is fitted with an ornate silver-plated mount comprising a cast handle with foliate and scroll motifs and a hinged lid topped with a knop finial. The underside of the lid's pouring lip is stamped with the marks SILVERPLATED and ITALY. Height: Approximately 29cm.
