Bidspirit auction | A Pair of Vintage Wooden

A Pair of Vintage Wooden Wheelbarrow or Handcart Side Rails - A pair of traditional wooden side rails or handles, intended for a vintage wheelbarrow or handcart. These components are constructed from a weathered hardwood, exhibiting the characteristic grain of ash or elm, materials traditionally favoured for English agricultural tool construction. The rails are hand-shaped with tapered sections and feature a distinctive notch at one end for structural joining. The timber displays a deep, aged patination consistent with long-term exposure. Visible markings include a white adhesive label with the handwritten number 5677 in green ink and a small auction lot sticker for HCP Auctions South West, Lot 067. These items are loose components suitable for restoration projects or rustic display. Length: approximately 1.2 - 1.5 m.
