Vintage Two Gallon Petrol Can with Brass Fittings - A vintage two-gallon rectangular fuel storage can, characteristic of mid-20th century British petroliana. The vessel is constructed from steel with a fixed central carrying handle and finished in a weathered red paint. The top is fitted with a large threaded brass filler neck and a smaller secondary brass vent cap featuring a four-lug design for gripping. An embossed rectangular brand panel is present on the side face, though the original lettering is no longer legible due to surface oxidation. The interior shows historic dark residue and light particulate matter, but the structure remains intact. 25cm x 15cm x 30cm.
