Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Y-10 1931 AEC Trolleybus Diddler Special Limited Edition - A Macau-made die-cast metal model of a 1931 AEC Trolleybus Diddler, produced as part of the Matchbox Models of Yesteryear series. The vehicle is finished in a red and cream livery with detailed printed decals. The sides feature a prominent Ronuk advertisement reading BY FAR THE BEST WAX POLISHES and FOR FLOORS FURNITURE BOOTS & MOTOR CARS. The centre side panel bears the gold lettering LONDON TRANSPORT. Destination boards are printed at the front and rear for route 604 HAMPTON CRT BUSHY PARK & KINGSTON. The black base of the vehicle is cast with text reading MATCHBOX INT L LTD, © 1988, MODELS OF YESTERYEAR, Y-10 DIDDLER, TROLLEY BUS, and MADE IN MACAU. There is also a printed white inscription on the base reading SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION. The model is presented in its original red and gold display box, which features a red flocked interior tray. The box is printed with the series title and model details, including the designation SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION. Accompanying the model is the original red printed information sheet describing the history and technical specifications of the 1931 AEC Trolleybus.
