A Vintage Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Harrods Ltd 1919 Walker Electric Van - A vintage Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Harrods Ltd 1919 Walker Electric Van, housed in its original window box. The die-cast model vehicle features a two-tone livery consisting of a cream upper body and a dark green lower chassis. The side panels are decorated with the text HARRODS LTD in black, positioned above a royal coat of arms and the phrase BY SPECIAL APPOINTMENT. Further gold lettering on the green panels reads BROMPTON ROAD. S.W.1. The van is equipped with green spoked wheels and a black steering wheel. The original green and gold card packaging is printed with the manufacturer logo MATCHBOX and Models of YESTERYEAR. The rear of the box features a detailed history of the Walker electric truck and a copyright mark reading © 1984 Matchbox International Limited, followed by PRINTED AND MADE IN ENGLAND. A white adhesive lot label from HCP Auctions South West is fixed to the front window.
