The model is finished in a bright yellow overall paint scheme with silver-painted detailing applied to the front grille and headlights. The sides of the tanker body are decorated with black decals reading NATIONAL BENZOLE MIXTURE, accompanied by the winged head of Mercury logo. The vehicle sits on yellow die-cast hubs fitted with four black rubber tyres. The underside features an embossed black metal base plate which remains clearly legible, reading DINKY TOYS, MADE IN ENGLAND, and MECCANO LTD.
