A Vintage Lesney Die-Cast Sentinel Steam Wagon Tipper Truck - A vintage Lesney die-cast Sentinel steam wagon tipper truck, representing the early production period of Lesney Products in England prior to the introduction of the Matchbox series. The model is finished in a blue colourway and features a functional manual tipping action bed. The truck is constructed with a die-cast metal body and chassis, fitted with four grey metal spoked wheels on steel axles. Both sides of the tipper bed and the front cab are decorated with yellow lettering reading SAND & GRAVEL SUPPLIES within a red border. The underside of the chassis bears the cast-in impressed mark LESNEY ENGLAND. The item is offered without its original box.
