A Vintage Lesney Matchbox Models of Yesteryear AEC No 6 Lorry - A vintage Lesney Matchbox Models of Yesteryear AEC No 6 lorry, based on the 1916 to 1921 Associated Equipment Company Type Y commercial vehicle. This die-cast metal model is constructed with an open cab featuring a cantilevered roof section and a deep, open-box cargo bed. The vehicle is finished in a uniform grey paint scheme with stylized red and black decals to the sides of the bed, featuring the initials M.L. and C beneath a red triangle. It is fitted with grey plastic 10-spoke wheels on metal axles. The underside of the chassis bears several impressed marks including A.E.C, 1916, (1921), MODELS OF YESTERYEAR, No 6, and MADE IN ENGLAND BY LESNEY.
