This die-cast metal model features a dark green body with a black textured plastic roof and a grey plastic chassis. The side panels are decorated with printed yellow and gold lettering reading LIPTON'S TEA positioned above a Royal Warrant crest inscribed BY APPOINTMENT. The front of the vehicle is detailed with silver-tone plastic headlamps and a radiator grille, supported by dark green spoked plastic wheels with black tires. The underside of the chassis is embossed with the marks MADE IN ENGLAND, MATCHBOX, a copyright date of © 1978, MODELS OF YESTERYEAR, Nº Y-5, 1927 TALBOT VAN, and LESNEY PRODUCTS & CO LTD. The model is housed in its original cream-coloured window display box, which is printed with the text models of yesteryear, Y-5, and 1927 TALBOT.
