A Vintage Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Die-cast 1919 Walker Electric Van - A vintage Matchbox Models of Yesteryear die-cast 1919 Walker electric van, finished in a dark green commercial livery for Joseph Lucas Ltd of Birmingham. The model is constructed with a die-cast metal body and a black plastic undercarriage and chassis. It features a tan plastic interior cab and is fitted with red spoked wheels with black tyres. The sides of the vehicle are decorated with white and red decals reading JOSEPH LUCAS LTD BIRMINGHAM and KING OF THE ROAD. The front radiator area also displays the Joseph Lucas name and a registration plate reading BB 5345. The underside of the chassis is moulded with text including MATCHBOX, MATCHBOX INT L LTD, MODELS OF YESTERYEAR, MADE IN ENGLAND, 1919 WALKER, and Y-29 © 1985. The vehicle is presented in its original red and gold card window box with Matchbox and Models of Yesteryear branding.
