A Vintage Matchbox Lesney Die-Cast 1927 Talbot Delivery Van - A vintage Matchbox Lesney die-cast 1927 Talbot delivery van, part of the Models of Yesteryear series and presented in its original retail window box. The scale model features a die-cast metal body finished in dark brown, complemented by a yellow plastic chassis, roof, and mudguards. It is equipped with free-wheeling black plastic wheels and chrome-effect front detailing including the radiator grille and headlights. The vehicle sides are decorated with period-style advertising decals for Wrights Original Coal Tar Soap, featuring the text Clean and Healthy Family Care and Wright Layman & Umney Ltd. The yellow-moulded underside is clearly marked with raised lettering reading MADE IN ENGLAND, MATCHBOX, a copyright symbol followed by 1978, MODELS OF YESTERYEAR, No Y-5, 1927 TALBOT VAN, and LESNEY PRODUCTS & CO LTD. The accompanying yellow and tan cardboard box is marked models of yesteryear and Y-5 1927 TALBOT.
