Antique Ribbed Buff Clay Chimney Pot - An antique ribbed buff clay chimney pot of tapered cylindrical form, featuring three prominent raised horizontal bands around the main body. The piece is finished with a heavy, rounded overhanging collar rim and a flared base, characteristic of late 19th-century architectural terracotta. The exterior exhibits a deep natural patina with extensive green moss and lichen encrustation, particularly concentrated around the ribs and collar. A white rectangular adhesive label is affixed to the upper rim, which reads HCP Auctions South West, Lot 106, and www.hcpauctions.net. The interior currently contains a nested assortment of plastic plant pots in varying shades of terracotta, brown, and black. No other maker marks or stamps are visible on the clay body.
