An Industrial Cast and Wrought Iron Triple Bracket Handrail - An industrial handrail of heavy-duty construction, likely salvaged from a maritime or railway environment. The piece is composed of a long wrought iron tubular rail supported by three cast iron brackets. Each bracket terminates in a circular mounting flange with four pre-drilled holes for surface attachment. The two terminal brackets are integrated with rounded, bulbous finials that cap the ends of the rail, while the third bracket provides central support. The entire assembly retains remnants of an original cream-coloured paint finish over the dark iron substrate. The construction is characteristic of early to mid-20th century British industrial utility hardware, designed for durability in high-traffic or harsh settings.
