A Vintage Steel Petrol Can with Spout and Screw Cap - A vintage steel fuel can of rectangular form, constructed with a top handle and a fixed, curved pouring spout. The can features a uniform heavy surface oxidation throughout, consistent with its utility as a motorized equipment or automobile auxiliary container. The side of the can shows embossed characters reading ARGONE. Additionally, the side bears painted characters in black, consisting of 2200 above ABARE. The top surface of the can has an embossed mark, but the heavy corrosion makes the characters illegible. A metal screw cap is present on the top surface. The construction utilized is consistent with mid-20th-century British utility items, featuring a sturdy carrying handle and a reinforced neck for the spout.
