A Vintage Five-Tray Cantilever Steel Toolbox - A vintage cantilever steel toolbox of multi-tier construction, finished in a faded blue-grey paint. The box features a five-compartment design, comprising a deep central base tray and four smaller rectangular upper trays. These upper trays are linked to the main body by a series of steel pivot straps, allowing the unit to expand outwards to reveal the contents of all compartments simultaneously. The exterior is fitted with two hinged, tubular metal carry handles that meet at the centre to secure the bi-fold lid. The construction utilizes heavy-gauge sheet steel with riveted joints and pivot points, typical of mid-20th-century industrial tool storage.
