A Pair of Industrial Cast Iron and Glass Bulkhead Porthole Fittings - A pair of industrial bulkhead porthole fittings, likely of maritime or architectural origin. Each unit is constructed with a heavy cast iron or steel circular frame featuring a wide mounting flange with four pre-drilled securing holes. The central circular glass lenses are thick and robust, held in place by a raised, bolted bezel. The underside of each fitting displays a concave, funnel-like profile, indicating they were designed for recessed installation into a wall or bulkhead. The frames retain remnants of an off-white or cream-coloured painted finish, which has weathered to reveal significant surface oxidation and a textured patina. The inner bezels show remains of dark sealing gaskets. A small white rectangular adhesive label is present on the flange of one unit, bearing the printed number 093.
