Bidspirit auction | A Vintage Wooden Folding A-Frame

A Vintage Wooden Folding A-Frame Painter's Stepladder - A vintage wooden A-frame stepladder of traditional folding design, constructed from softwood with metal hardware. The ladder features flat treads on the front section and a supporting frame to the reverse, connected by a hinged mechanism. An integrated wooden paint tray shelf is mounted between the rails, designed to fold flat when the ladder is closed. The construction utilizes simple joinery with visible metal fasteners at the primary hinge points and rungs. The surfaces are heavily decorated with a functional patina of white and red paint splatters, consistent with prolonged use in a trade or domestic decorating environment. There are no visible manufacturer's stamps or maker's marks on the wooden frame. Large-scale furniture items; exact dimensions are not provided.
