Bidspirit auction | A Collection of Maritime Trawl

A Collection of Maritime Trawl Floats and Buoys - A collection of maritime trawl floats and buoys of varying forms and materials, accompanied by sections of rope. The group includes two spherical floats manufactured from a hard, orange-toned material, one of which bears an impressed mark reading TRAWLNET followed by MADE IN and ENGLAND. A larger teardrop-shaped buoy is constructed with a textured, weathered surface and a visible central seam line. The collection also features a black spherical float with a protruding attachment point and a heavily weathered pale float showing significant surface degradation. Included within the red plastic crate are a coil of heavy natural fiber rope and a length of blue synthetic rope threaded through one of the spherical floats. The surfaces across the collection exhibit varying degrees of pitting, algae growth, and abrasions consistent with professional maritime use.
