A Pair of Antique 9ct Gold and Gemstone Stick Pins - A pair of antique stick pins from the late Victorian or Edwardian period, crafted in 9ct yellow gold. One pin features a traditional equestrian horseshoe motif encircling a finely detailed horse's head in relief. The horseshoe is grain-set with ten small, clear circular-cut stones. The second pin is designed as an interlaced lover's knot, formed from smooth gold wire and set with a central round-cut pink gemstone, likely a ruby or synthetic ruby common to the period. This second pin features a barley-twist shank, a decorative feature intended to provide additional grip when worn in a cravat or lapel. The horseshoe pin bears legible hallmarks on the reverse of the head, including the fineness mark '9' and '.375' in small rectangular cartouches, confirming the gold purity. Other smaller stamps are present on the reverse but are not legible as specific characters. The lover's knot pin lacks visible hallmarks but is consistent in colour and construction with its counterpart. Total Gross Weight: 2.11 g.
