A Monarch Model 2159 Hunting Knife and a Hand Carved Wooden Dagger - A vintage hunting knife by Monarch, model number 2159, alongside a hand-carved fixed-blade dagger of folk art style. The Monarch knife features a steel clip-point blade and a handle constructed from faux stag material with red and yellow spacers, a brass guard, and an aluminum pommel. On the ricasso of the blade, it bears an impressed mark reading MONARCH over 2159 over JAPAN. It is accompanied by a brown leather sheath featuring a stamped logo consisting of a letter W within a shield. The larger companion piece is a fixed-blade dagger with a carved wooden handle and matching wooden sheath. The handle is decorated with hand-carved borders and a central radiating sun motif, finished with a brass cross-guard featuring spherical finials. The wooden sheath mirrors this carving and is fitted with a brass throat and a pointed brass chape at the tip.
