A Vintage 9 Carat Yellow Gold Basket Weave Dome Ring - A vintage 9 carat yellow gold cocktail ring featuring a prominent domed head. The design is executed in an intricate openwork lattice style, reminiscent of a woven basket-weave or textured mesh. The head is integrated into a polished yellow gold band that tapers toward the reverse. The interior of the shank bears a full set of British hallmarks including a crown gold standard mark, the fineness mark 375, and a town mark for the Birmingham Assay Office featuring an anchor. A date letter P is present in a rounded square cartouche, corresponding to the year 1989. There are additional marks at the end of the sequence which are partially obscured by wear, including a maker's mark consisting of two characters, possibly S followed by another letter.
