A Pair of Mid-20th Century Bohemian Garnet and 9 Carat Gold Pendants - A pair of vintage pendants of contrasting mid-20th century designs. The first is an oval Bohemian garnet pendant featuring an intricate openwork filigree border composed of heart-shaped motifs. The central oval-cut dark red garnet is claw-set and surrounded by ten smaller round-cut garnets. The reverse of the integrated bale is struck with multiple marks, including a vertical mark reading G 8 0, the numeral 925, and an illegible maker's mark or assay office symbol. The second item is a circular 9 carat gold pendant featuring a double concentric frame enclosing a stylized fruiting branch. Two round-cut purple and red stones are set as the fruit, with three small clear accent stones set into the leaf-shaped base. The inner frame is stamped with the maker's mark W&G in three separate circular cartouches, followed by the gold purity mark 9ct. Combined Gross Weight: 4.493 g.
