A Vintage 1933 George VI Sterling Silver Enamel Pigeon Pendant and Chain - A vintage sterling silver commemorative pendant and chain from the George VI period. The pendant features a circular silver frame with an engine-turned border, housing a central circular enamel plaque depicting a blue pigeon in a landscape setting with grass and a pale sky. The reverse of the pendant is flat and bears a hand-stamped inscription reading CINDERFORD SHOW 1933. The reverse is also struck with three hallmarks: a set of initials, the lion passant for sterling silver, and a date letter t within a shield. The pendant is suspended from a modern fine silver snake-link chain, which features a lobster claw clasp. The clasp is stamped on a small oval tag with ITALY and 925.
