Bidspirit auction | A Vintage Silver-Handled Dental Elevator

A Vintage Silver-Handled Dental Elevator - A vintage dental elevator featuring a polished white metal handle and a steel shaft. The handle is constructed from a tapered, cylindrical section of white metal, likely silver, joined to the shaft by a simple ferrule. The lower section of the handle bears three vertically aligned struck marks in rectangular cartouches; while the top two marks are not distinctly legible as specific characters, they appear consistent with British hallmarks. The steel shaft transitions to a functional tip designed as a sharp, triangular, double-edged point with a slight concavity to one side, characteristic of a dental extraction tool or elevator. The handle shows surface scratching consistent with age and regular handling.
