AN OTTOMAN TURKISH SILVER-MOUNTED YATAGHAN WITH SCABBARD, 19TH CEN.
A fine silver mounted Yataghan in the characteristic Ottoman style decorated with elaborate repousse work to the mountings. Blade marked by the maker to right side, decorated with Arabic inscriptions to the other.

Condition: Blade lightly pitted towards the tip, fits scabbard well. Horn grip is whole and tight. Chased silver fittings of scabbard are intact.
