Crook dagger and whip, 1st half 20t - Crook dagger and whip, 1st half 20th century, Persia/North Africa. Curved dagger or koummya Blade ground on both sides in the upper third, dark hardwood handle (cloven), scabbard and handle fittings probably under-alloyed silver richly florally decorated, two suspension rings, blade slightly loose in the handle, fits only with difficulty in the scabbard. L without scabbard 39 cm. Comes with a whip for horsemen, probably Persian area around 1900, wooden handle with metal fittings, bumped, whip strap made of plaited leather, slightly burnt at the base, handle l. 34 cm
