Two Pairs of Yellow Gold Stone-Set Earrings 5.61g. This lot comprises two matched pairs of yellow gold earrings. The first pair consists of small 9 carat yellow gold huggie hoop earrings, each channel-set with a row of round-cut clear stones to the front. A single round white cultured pearl is suspended from a jump ring at the base of each hoop. These earrings feature hinged lever-back closures. The interior of the hoops is stamped with the sponsor mark CJC, the gold fineness mark 375, a crown, and an anchor symbol representing the Birmingham Assay Office. The second pair consists of 14 carat yellow gold graduated triple-drop earrings. Each earring features three clear stones held in claw settings, arranged in a descending sequence of round-cut, square-cut, and pear-cut. The earrings are fitted with lever-back ear wires. The reverse of the ear wires is stamped with the fineness mark .585, a square maker mark containing the letters BB, and the country of origin MEXICO. Total weight: 5.61g.
