A Pair of Murano Blown Glass Clown Figurines with Guitars A pair of hand-blown art glass figurines depicting clowns playing stringed instruments, resembling ukuleles or lutes. The figures are executed in the Murano style using lamp-working and glass-blowing techniques. Each figurine features a tiered blue hat, yellow textured hair, and a prominent ruffled collar in shades of orange and yellow. The torsos are formed from clear glass containing internal red, white, and green glass frit inclusions, accented by large green glass buttons. The clowns have white glass hands and stand on oversized black glass feet with polished pontil marks visible on the undersides. No maker's marks, signatures, or labels are present on either piece.
