A Collection of Vintage Kodak Disc Film Cameras including Models 4000, 6000, and 8000 A collection of vintage Kodak Disc film cameras manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company, Rochester, N.Y., dating from the early 1980s. The group includes several models designed for the 15-exposure disc film format. The Kodak Disc 4000 units feature brushed aluminium front plates and glass f/2.8 lenses, with one unit accompanied by its original retail box, display stand, manual, and an unexposed disc of Kodacolor Gold film. The Kodak Disc 6000 model is designed with a black plastic body and a sliding lens cover that acts as a stand, contained within a clear acrylic display case. The Kodak Disc 8000 is the premium model of the series, featuring a digital display on the front for a self-timer and clock; it is housed in a clear acrylic display case with an original white cardboard outer sleeve marked CAT 349 0471 and includes a black leatherette zip pouch and manual. All models are equipped with motorised film advance and automatic flash recycling systems. The bodies are constructed from high-impact plastic with various metal decorative accents. Markings include the KODAK block capital logo and the stylised disc emblem with a circle above the letter i.
