Two Vintage Kodak Brownie Camera Kits Including Holiday Flash Outfit and Baby Brownie Picture Lab This lot consists of two mid-20th century amateur photographic kits manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company. The first kit is a Kodak Brownie Holiday Flash Outfit, model number 183 L. The set includes a Brownie Holiday Flash camera, manufactured in Canada by the Canadian Kodak Co. Limited. The camera is constructed from brown moulded plastic and features a fixed-focus Dakon lens for 127 roll film. The faceplate is inscribed with the maker and model details alongside a red Kodak logo. Included with the camera are a detachable flash unit with a circular silvered reflector, six unused M-2 type flashbulbs, and an original instruction booklet titled Meet your Brownie Holiday Flash Camera. The kit is housed in its original yellow and red cardboard presentation box. The second kit is an Eastman's Baby Brownie Picture Lab. This lot features a Baby Brownie camera, constructed from black vertically-ribbed Bakelite, designed for 127 roll film. This comprehensive home darkroom kit includes original developing equipment: three black metal developing trays, a 4 oz. glass measuring graduate, a wooden and glass printing frame for 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch film negatives, a red Brownie Darkroom Lamp safelight cover, two metal clips embossed with the word Faultless, a glass tube with cork stoppers containing Universal Developer, and a packet of Kodak Velox Paper. The set also includes instructional booklets titled Instructions for Operating the Baby Brownie and Photoflash Pictures. The kit is contained in its original blue cardboard box lid marked Eastman's Baby Brownie Picture Lab, Eastman Kodak Company, Rochester, N.Y.
