An Assortment of Decorative Bone China Cabinet Plates and Dishes featuring Commemorative Railway Floral and Bird Designs A collection of decorative bone china items comprising various cabinet plates and small dishes. The group includes two floral study plates signed J. Stanley for Royal Worcester, one depicting a central arrangement of pink and yellow roses, the other featuring a bouquet of spring flowers including tulips, crocuses, and primroses tied with a yellow ribbon. Both signed plates feature a stylized chain-link border in green and yellow. Also included is a commemorative railway plate celebrating the Great Western Railway (GWR), featuring a central transfer-printed scene of a steam locomotive crossing a stone bridge. The border is decorated with circular medallions containing GWR logos, signal arms, and a portrait of Isambard Kingdom Brunel with dates 1806-1859, alongside crests for London and Bristol. The collection further contains a pair of bird plates from the Woodland Birds series, one depicting Blue Tits on flowering hawthorn and the other green birds, likely greenfinches, on dog-rose branches. Other items include a scalloped-edge plate with concentric floral garlands, an asymmetrical floral spray plate, a small fruit-decorated dish featuring peaches and grapes against a tan ground, and a small chinoiserie-style dish depicting a blue and yellow bird among stylized flowers. All items are transfer-printed with gilt rims or highlights.
