A Collection of Eight Contemporary Kenyan Souvenir Handicrafts A collection of eight contemporary Kenyan souvenir handicrafts constructed from various materials including soapstone, wood, and natural plant fibres. The group includes two hand-carved soapstone trinket boxes, labelled as sandstone, one featuring a purple and blue mottled design with a bird finial, and the other depicting a landscape scene with an acacia tree and an animal finial. The lot also features a hand-carved wooden figure in traditional Maasai-style attire, painted in red, black, and yellow with wire neck rings, and a dark-stained hand-carved wooden carving of a crocodile. Additionally, there is a miniature thatched hut model made from bark and dried grass, and three figures constructed from wrapped plant fibres and wire representing a bicycle rider, a rhinoceros, and a turtle with a patterned shell. Each item is housed in its original clear plastic retail packaging with handwritten identifying labels.
