A Collection of Porcelain and Metal Animal Figurines including Hollóháza and Wade This collection includes various animal-themed decorative objects and tablewares. Featured are a pair of Hollóháza Hungarian porcelain geese, designed with tall, slender white glazed bodies, hand-painted gold lustre beaks, and simple black-lined eyes. The base of the figurines bears the Hollóháza circular wreath mark with a bird emblem, the date 1777, and is inscribed Hollóháza, Hungary, Handpainted, with a hand-brushed KT mark. Also included is a Wade Porcelain tortoise trinket box, a two-part ceramic piece with a light brown and tan glaze and molded shell detailing. The base is impressed with Wade, Porcelain, Made in England, and the number 4. A metal rooster trinket box is enamelled in shades of gold, purple, and red, with the back inset with amber-coloured rhinestones. This piece is hinged, opening to a gold-toned interior with magnetic closures. The collection further contains a cobalt blue ceramic bird whistle with a red-painted interior mouth and a whistle aperture at the tail. A ceramic hen on nest box features a blue spongeware-textured base and a lid decorated with blue and white speckles. Completing the group is a white ceramic shaker decorated with a transfer print of a woodcock.
