An Assortment of Mid-to-Late 20th-Century Postcards in a Floral Album A postcard album containing a collection of topographical and thematic postcards, together with an assortment of loose postcards. The collection primarily focuses on British topographical views, including landmarks and scenic vistas from Scotland (Edinburgh Castle, Loch Ness, Glencoe), the Isle of Wight (The Needles, Ventnor), Norfolk, Suffolk, and Wales. Other subjects include humorous holiday and caravanning illustrations, vintage transportation (steam engines, early automobiles, Bentley racing car, and a British Airways Concorde), animals (kittens, giraffes, Bengal tiger), and natural history (trilobite fossil, opals). The loose humorous cards feature illustrations signed Bodley. The Concorde postcard is printed by John Hinde Studios from a photograph by D. Noble. The album cover features a pink rose floral pattern with the title Post Card Album printed in gold cursive script. Internal pages feature handwritten captions including Culzean Castle Ayrshire, Loch Muick Braemar, Urquhart Castle Loch Ness, Edinburgh Castle, Guildford Cathedral, and Needles Isle of Wight.
