Two Vintage Hardcover Books on the Welsh Mountains Including a 1962 First Edition by W. A. Poucher This lot comprises two vintage hardcover volumes concerning the landscape and topography of Wales. The first, titled Portrait of Snowdonia by Cledwyn Hughes, was published by Robert Hale, London, as part of their Portrait series. The title page of this copy features two distinct ink stamps indicating its provenance from the British Broadcasting Corporation: a large purple WITHDRAWN FROM STOCK stamp and a rectangular boxed PROPERTY OF THE British Broadcasting Corporation stamp. It includes the original pictorial dust jacket with an illustration by Biro. The second volume is a first edition of The Welsh Peaks by W. A. Poucher, stated first published 1962.
