Mee, Arthur (Editor). I See All: The World's First Picture Encyclopedia. Amalgamated Press, [c. 1930]. A Multi-Volume Set. A multi-volume set of I See All: The World's First Picture Encyclopedia, edited by Arthur Mee. Published by The Amalgamated Press at Fleetway House, London, circa 1930. The collection consists of five hardcover volumes bound in the original publisher's red cloth. The spines feature decorative gilded titles and vignettes, while the front boards are finished with blind-stamped rectangular borders and gilded titles. The work contains approximately 100,000 illustrations, including black and white photographs, line drawings, and maps, arranged in an alphabetical sequence from A to ZYG. The content covers people, places, and things, with the final volume containing a comprehensive world atlas. The text was edited at John Carpenter House and printed by The Amalgamated Press at their works in London and Gravesend.
