A Collection of Seven Vintage Welsh Language Hardback Books Relating to History Culture and Language A collection of seven vintage hardback volumes primarily published in the Welsh language, focusing on academic, linguistic, and historical subjects. The group features notable scholarly works from the Cyfres y Brifysgol a'r Werin series, including Datblygiad yr Iaith Gymraeg (The Development of the Welsh Language) by Henry Lewis, published by Gwasg Prifysgol Cymru in 1931, and Cymru a'i Phobl (Wales and its People) by Iorwerth C. Peate, published by the same press in 1948. The collection contains an early compilation of Welsh songs, Casgliad o Ganeuon Cymru by T. A. Levi, printed by Lewis Evans in Swansea, 1896. Also included is a historical account of the Welsh Religious Revival, Adgofion am y Diwygiad 1904-'05 yn Nhrecynon by T. Williams (Parcwyson), published in Dolgellau in 1913. The volumes are bound in various styles including textured cloth with gilt titles and paper-covered boards with cloth-backed spines.
