Morgan, J. J., et al. A Collection of Welsh Language Religious Biographies and Theological Works. 1876-1924. This collection comprises several hardcover volumes of Welsh-language religious biographies and theological treatises from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The volumes are primarily octavo in format and bound in publisher's cloth of various colours, including red, brown, and green, featuring gilt-stamped spines. The collection includes: Hanes Dafydd Morgan Ysbyty a Diwygiad 59 by J. J. Morgan, published by the author, 1906, containing a frontispiece portrait; Evan Roberts a'i Waith by D. M. Phillips, published by William Lewis, Cardiff, 1924 (Tenth Edition/Y Degfed Argraffiad), including a frontispiece portrait; Cofiant J. R. Jones, Ramoth by David Williams, published by W. Morgan Evans and Son, Carmarthen, 1913; Pregethau Volume I by David Jones, published by P. M. Evans, Holywell, 1876; Cofiant y Parchedig Owen Thomas, D.D. by J. J. Roberts (Iolo Carnarvon), published by D. O'Brien Owen, Caernarfon, undated, featuring a frontispiece portrait and the gilt seal of The Calvinistic Methodist Church of Wales to the front board; and Traethodau Duwinyddol by L. Edwards, published by Hughes and Son, Wrexham, undated. One volume contains a handwritten ink dedication on the front flyleaf transcribed as: To dear Ma, with the best wishes of her affectionate daughter Mary Symond. January 8th 1878. A printed blue bookseller's label to the front pastedown of the Edwards volume reads: BOOKBINDERS BOOKSELLERS PRINTERS MORGAN and HIGGS 18 HEATHFIELD ST. SWANSEA STATIONERS.
