A Collection of Six Welsh Language Theological and Biographical Books This collection consists of six Welsh-language volumes focused on religious history and significant biographical figures, spanning from the mid-nineteenth to the late twentieth century. The group includes: Gweithiau William Williams Pantycelyn, Cyfrol I, edited by Gomer Morgan Roberts and published in Cardiff by Gwasg Prifysgol Cymru in 1964, bound in red cloth; Cofiant Owen Morgan Edwards, Cyfrol I (1858-1883) by W. J. Gruffydd, published in Aberystwyth by Ab Owen in 1937, featuring a frontispiece photograph; Pregethau y Parch. John Jones, Talysarn, Ail Gyfrol, prepared by Thomas Lloyd Jones and published in Caernarfon by D. W. Davies in 1875, bound in decorative red cloth with black-stamped patterns; Cofiant y Parchedig Edward Morgan, Dyffryn by Griffith Ellis, published in Denbigh by Gee a'i Fab in 1906, including a frontispiece portrait; Howel Harris yn Llundain, Y Gyfrol Gyntaf (1739-1740) by John Thickens, published in Caernarfon by the Calvinistic Methodist Printing House; and Vavasor Powell by R. Tudur Jones, published in Swansea by Gwasg John Penry in 1971, with its original tan paper dust jacket. The 1875 John Jones volume includes a handwritten Welsh inscription on the front endpaper dated 10 February 1924, presenting the book to a teacher, Miss James Davies, upon her departure from her class.
