A Set of four Ridgway Homemaker dinner plates A set of four earthenware dinner plates in the Homemaker pattern, produced by Ridgway Potteries Ltd in Staffordshire, England. The design, created by Enid Seeney, features an all-over black underglaze transfer print on a white ground. The pattern depicts a variety of mid-century modern household objects, including a butterfly chair, a sideboard, a tripod table, a plant stand, and kitchen utensils, all arranged over a background of irregular horizontal wavy lines. Each plate has a circular form with a slight coupe profile. The reverse of each plate is marked with a black printed backstamp reading RIDGWAY POTTERIES LTD, HOMEMAKER, MADE IN STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLAND, ALL COLOURS GUARANTEED, 1 UNDERGLAZE 62 AND DETERGENT PROOF.
