An Assortment of Vintage and Antique Decorative Ceramics, Figurines, and Transferware Plates A collection of vintage and antique ceramics and decorative objects contained within two boxes. The assortment includes a pair of spaniel figurines with white glazes and painted black snouts. Notable among the tableware is an octagonal commemorative plate for the 1937 Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, decorated with portraits and inscriptions for H.R.H. Princess Margaret Rose. The selection of plates features various transfer-printed designs, including flow blue patterns, romantic courting scenes within circular vignettes, floral motifs, and pieces with reticulated borders. One dish is finished in a pale green glaze with butterfly and wild rose decoration. The lot also contains a variety of earthenware and stoneware jugs, including a yellow-glazed example and others with applied floral motifs. A stoneware stein with a castle motif is present. Further decorative items include a soapstone-type carving of monkeys, an owl figurine, and a figure of a girl with blue ribbons. The items exhibit various body types including earthenware and stoneware with both underglaze and overglaze decoration.
