A Collection of Vintage Knitting Needles and Crochet Hooks with Two Bex Plastic Cases An assortment of vintage needlework tools and accessories comprising two cases of knitting needles and a selection of crochet hooks and implements. The group features two rectangular cases made from a mottled brown plastic, characteristic of early mid-20th-century materials such as Bakelite or Xylonite. One case lid is embossed with the words Knitting Needles and incorporates a molded ruler and a graduated needle gauge. The base of the case is marked MADE IN BEX ENGLAND within a pill-shaped border, identifying it as a product of the British Xylonite Company. The cases contain a miscellaneous assortment of single-point knitting needles in various lengths and gauges. Materials include coloured plastics in shades of blue, green, yellow, and cream, as well as tortoiseshell-effect celluloid and metal. One blue plastic needle is marked GAUGE 2.
