A Group of P.P.C. Portland Pottery Hunting-Themed Ceramics A collection of relief-moulded earthenware ceramics produced by Portland Pottery Co. (P.P.C.), England, featuring traditional fox hunting motifs. The group comprises a creamer jug, a small open sugar bowl, a second smaller jug, and an equestrian figurine. The primary pieces are decorated in relief with scenes of riders, horses, and hounds in a landscape, finished with hand-painted overglaze enamels. The larger jug is designed with a fox-mask spout and a handle in the form of a riding crop, while the reverse depicts a saddle within a foliate wreath. The bases of the larger jug and the sugar bowl are impressed with the marks ENGLAND and P P C. The smaller jug features a hand-painted green 0 mark to the underside, and the figurine is unmarked.
